"Mattel is great place to work where you will feel challenged, valued and treated with respect"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Bring your A game. Mattel does not baby-sit. You should have a strong portfolio and have a ton of experience in managing your own creative projects from concept, to dealing with outside vendors, to final execution or your weaknesses will show right away. Time management and quality results almost come before design skills as a package designer at Mattel."

What do you like about working at Beneficial Finance?
"The Corporate Art Director at Beneficial Management looked for me when he needed a art director specifically because we share strick standards of quality. Nothing goes out unless it is perfect. The budget allowed for more creativity."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I was accustom to clients on very tight budgets. It took adjusting to be able to do the most creative designs with little restrictions. In my capacity, I would suggest new employees offer at least 2 options to allow for a choice of low to high budget design concepts. Despite seemingly unlimited budgets, it is important to remain cost consious."
What don't you like about working at Beneficial Finance?
"Not working there anymore. I hoped to end my career at Beneficial, the corporation down-sized conciderably unfortunately letting go thousands of employees. After losing my job as the corporate art director, I was re-hired for a short time as a telemarketer. A less than creative position but was able to remain employeed with a company I really enjoyed."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Unfortunately the CEO and Art director are no longer available. The company was built by the CEO's parents, the son Finn W. Casperson took over. He ran the company well, and gave to the community. I have no suggestions."
