"High pressure sales requirements little support expected to do it ll on your own"

"Territory reassignment based on population income the greatest predictor of success in this job, many too reps are grossly underperforming due to same goal for everyone."

"I enjoy the personal reward and satisfaction that comes with building a successful department."

"Keep a positive attitude! And if you are hired, don't let other people get you down!"

"I dislike the negativity of the people around me! Sometimes it's hard to stay positive."

"Follow through. Have less micromanaging of sales manager. Be clear about goals and guidelines, and then be consistent in allowing sales managers to work within the guidelines to reach the goals."

"Limited upside with MBOs. The company was acquired which effected me negatively."

"Don't sell the company. We were on the right path for continued growth for many years."

"I loved Dillard's pricing policy - no sales, doorbusters, or gimmicks. Everyone was friendly, and loyalty and advancement were encouraged."

"If you like retail, Dillard's is a good place to work. Be proactive about your advancement so management can work with you."

"I was given the opportunity to move from hourly work to management, but not given much formal training."

"I think that structured management training would be helpful to associates moving up to area sales management."

"working with cutting edge technology. Autonomy to run the dealer channel. Have had the ability to travel to some nice places as a result of the work I did."

"Nothing too specific but try and determine how flexible they may be when customer situations arise."
What don't you like about working at Phase One?
"We are a European company and there are distinct differences on how to market and run a sales channel in the US versus in Europe. Not necessarily right or wrong but different. Sometimes these differences and disagreements on how to market and manage a sales channel can be a little frustrating at times."

"Perhaps at times be a little more flexible when working with our sales channel."

"Be sure to do research on the industry and understand the work load and what's expected. This job can be rewarding but not easy. You must love sales at the highest level and not be afraid to work, communicate and sell to C level. Extremely important."

"I enjoy working with Technology and Software and selling to Corporate America and C level. I love the challenge."

"Pay Better and work on the support system so that better customer service will drive sales and not sales driving customer sales."
