"It was nice to work there but, time to move up..."
"I've worked for them for 6 months and it is on a multi-company contract and everyone is very nice and welcoming and it is a great atmosphere."
"I have worked with Apex Systems for an upwards of two years and the experience has simply been phenomenal. My supervisor operates an open door policy and is really easy to reach in cases where direct contact has been necessary. One of the most profound things about working with Apex is the camaraderie among coworkers. The work-life balance is also worthy of note. One thing that could be worked on or improved upon is time between request made and requests delivered."
"I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to work for Apex Systems. The Apex recruiters act very nice and will lie and tell you whatever they think you want to hear to get you to take their positions so they can make money off of your hard work, even though they really don't do anything for you or to help contribute to your success. I was told my position was six months contract to hire and then I would be brought on full time for the company they have me doing work for. It has been almost a year and still no such position exists. I later found out through the manager that I work for at my assignment that they initially had no intention of keeping my for more than a few months but since I was doing such a good job they decided to keep me on as a full time contractor. They keep telling me that I will get a full time position but they can't give me any idea when this will happen (keep in mind this was supposed to happen over six months ago). This place is a scam and what they are doing should be illegal and probably is. I admit, at first they make things sound and look good but when it comes time to pay up and follow through they are worthless. If you stay for a year, Apex gets a huge payout, and you get nothing except maybe an extra dollar an hour. The pay sucks, there are no benefits, sick days, payed holidays, and PTO. All they offer is a crappy insurance plan that only helps if you get severely injured or sick. For every hour you are on the job working your ass off making 14 dollars an hours they are making double doing nothing. I am still a contractor for them only because I like my assignment but that is going to be ending in the very very near future. If you're happy living paycheck to paycheck and not having any job security to speak of, than Apex may be good for you but if you are serious about building up your career or are like me and have experience, a degree, and certifications, take my word and stay away from these people. You will regret it."
"I have worked for Apex Systems for 6 months as a contractor. I love my recruiter and the account manager. My recruiter took the time to get to know me and what my skills are. They have treated me with the utmost respect and I look to them for professional advice. There consultant support department is also very good. If I had to say anything that was just a bit undesirable, I would say that sometimes when you open a support ticket and they respond, it is a very vague response and you have to ask about 3 questions to get your answer. Other than that, I feel they have my best interest at heart. I think they are very concerned about placing the right person in the right job. My boss is great! My recruiter is Marc S. And he deserves kudos from me. Thank you!"
"I have been with Apex for 6 months. I was grateful for the opportunity 6 months ago, and now all I want is out. The pay is decent, but could be better. There is no vacation time, no sick time, no nothing. Insurance benefits are alright. I have seen better. Plus, my contract location is nothing to write home about. They don't really welcome you in, I am youngest here AND I am the only contractor in this particular position in this location. There really isn't room for advancement. That sucks. Another downside is that contract end dates are not given to you. You may leave on Tuesday night and then get a call on Wednesday morning as you are leaving for work, telling you the contract was cancelled. Thankfully my contract was renewed and I am still employed. If you are looking for challenges, advancement and fun, please look elsewhere. If you are looking for mundane, boring, routine work, then please, apply."
"Nice place to work! They pay on time and are very helpful."
"They were a great company to work for. They were responsive to their employees' needs."
"The pay for something of this caliber is mediocre at best."
"In general I would have to say that working for Apex is a good job. I would like to have been given a more permanent position and it would have been nice if they would have negotiated my starting salary to match what I was getting paid through them. All in all Apex is a good employer."
