"The environment died after Amerisource took over--it became corporate and whole departments were laid off."

"Nothing about AmerisourceBergen. When I joined the company (Bergen Brunswig) in 1990 it was a great place to work that provided me with career advancement and many opportunites."

"After the merger with the 2nd tier wholesaler (Amerisource) the atmosphere of 'achievement through hard work' changed to 'who you know from Amerisource'...to get anything done or advance."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Don't ask sales associates to pad trade show sales at the expense of unknowing customers and expect those employees to tow the line.Stop buying back control drugs from unscrupulous vendors who change dosage labels for profit."

"Very disorganized environment, does not have established policies and practices, uses code review as a means of disciplining employees, coding begins before requirements are complete yielding ever-shifting work and rework, everyone seems to put in 12 hour days, but no work ever gets done."

"Start by getting rid of all the developers, architects, and managers, switch to C# so you can find some people who know software development, and build the applications from scratch."
