"great opportunist organization"
"I worked at AmerisourceBergen for almost three years so I could earn some decent income while I put myself through school. I worked in the refrigerator, where I was responsible for prepping and picking orders in the cooler environment. I was also responsible for training any newly hired associates that were hired to work in that department. They offered an incentive program, where the faster you worked, the more you got paid. I was basically making almost $25 per hour with my productivity, which was why I stayed there for so long. Work could be stressful at times, but they also had great benefits."
"Stay away. Rude director, will always treat everyone so bad. Work is mostly data entry or data from SAP to upload in EXCEL."
"Good place to work and great training."
"ABSG (Amerisource Bergen) was a great company to work for. I would work for them again. I gained a lot of knowledge and experience working with the company and I would recommend them to anyone. I started with the company in January 2010, and they believe in promoting from within when there is good talent. I excelled and was given the opportunity to move up in the company. Unfortunately my last position ended as the department was closed, however if given the chance I would work for them again."
"At AmerisourceBergen, it was a good company but lacked on the organization. Few career advances."
"It's a nice place to work but it is impossible to advance unless you threaten to leave apparently."
"Worked as SAP BW Solution Architect, good work-life balance and opportunity to grow."
"We work 11-14 hours a day, (sometimes longer) 5 days a week. We only get two 15 min breaks and a 30 min lunch. It's fast paced walking and sometimes running throughout the whole shift. And every 15 minutes or so the manager is yelling over the intercom for us to speed it up. Meetings include you need to go faster people and you need to take less bathroom breaks. Also if you get caught talking while working you get yelled at. It's an absolute grueling sweatshop with a huge turnover."
"Amerisource Bergen is an amazing place to work. The ability to learn and grow is paramount with the new technologies we are constantly developing. It is an exciting and fulfilling job experience and I love working there. They even offer tuition reimbursement to people as they further their educations. The compensation structure on the other hand is less than ideal. I have not even had a raise big enough to cover cost of living increases in the last three years."
"I worked with Amerisource Bergen for almost an year. Organization is nice and have very good working culture."
