"The American Red Cross was fair. There was a consistent change of management throughout the time I was there which made it unstable and difficult to adjust at times. My job was fulfilling. It was fast paced and busy, which I like."

What do you like about working at American Red Cross?

"I liked being able to work independently as well as with others as I coordinated blood drives. I liked the planning process and paying attention to all the details of the event before, during and after. I also liked being in all phases of that process for different blood drives at all times."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Ask what will be expected of you in detail so you know what to expect because training is on the job."

What don't you like about working at American Red Cross?

"I did not like the constant change in management and sales representatives for different territories that needed to be covered."

"Use your interview at the ARC as a practice round and continue to interview elsewhere."

What don't you like about working at American Red Cross?

"It was at best a dysfunctional, disorganized not-for-profit with many of the upper management teams overwhelmed and incompetent at their positions."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Change has to start from the top down."
