"Everyday was a new challenge, I had to manage a huge variety of different projects. it was great for problem solving, learning, and researching."

"compensation. I helped generate over $60k of Net Income a month from my projects alone, and the owner refused to give me a pay raise or commission. I was working alone I wasn't provided with a team."

"Be yourself and also be honest with yourself if you don't think a challenging work environment is for you don't accept the responsibility because it makes everyone willing to task that much harder."

"Don't be afraid to accept advice from employee's whose pay grade, or title is lower than your's. That advice might be another company's treasure."

"I did not like the location of the Nuclear plant. It was not a place I would really like to live, but the job was wonderful."

"I did not like the lack of need for skill in business competition. When a staff downsizing occurred, I volunteered for a generous employee buyout."

"Career advancement is who you know, not at all how well you do your work. You can advance, but unless you are personally connected, you will retire in your entry position or one, maybe two, levels greater."

"Electric utilities are monopoly work. Until they are required to compete, they have no need for true planning. They write budgets and operate to the budget. Competitive business, not electric utilities, must struggle and mind the competition. I an educated to deal with competitive business and that is where I thrive and perform my best."

"Managerment in an electric utility is that of an administrator; it is safe and secure and requires little difficult or competitive planning."
