"Aflac Seattle has massive potential for sales, relationships, and growth within the insurance industry."
"I've learned a lot about owning my own business, but there's very little room finding new businesses that are willing to implement supplemental insurance. Its 100% commission, so if you have the financial stability to take the position then it's a great fit for you to make it a career. The best part is retirement after 10 years, which you will be 100% fully invested, and enjoy it with the continuation of income. The opportunity of working from home and scheduling your own hours."
"Good place to work. You are considered self employed"
"Great company with a lot of helpful and knowledgeable people who are willing to assist in your career and growth"
"I have worked with Aflac for roughly one year. During my time there, I had the opportunity to build relationships with many different clients. I have followed up with many of them and in some cases, have even recruited them when initially rejected. I have recruited on average twenty people per month for a position that seems very very difficult. This position has no base salary and is 100% commission. Tough sell right? Totally, but I was able to do it with ease."
"Great company, great culture and atmosphere. Everyone is super motivated."
"I just started at Aflac not long ago. They value employees, their ethics, and always doing the right thing by the customer all the time. Aflac provides lots of training and benefits to undergrad/graduate degree seeking employees. Their EAW Employee Appreciation Week is insane. Every month I look forward to some cool thing Aflac is doing for their employees, customers, and public. They are a great example of a corporation that is profitable and still takes care of the important things that help them succeed."
"I began an internship with Aflac in my senior year of college. It is a commission based job that involves a lot of time on the phones or on the streets trying to get leads and build your business. There is a chance to make money in this profession but you have to be willing to be poor for the first few months. It takes time to build up your clientele. This is a position that takes a lot of your time starting out and requires that you have thick skin because you will get hung up on and cussed at by people."
"Great products. Great potential for compensation. Great training. Great incentive packages."
"Aflac offers great products and benefits to the policy holders. But, the Independent Agents are expected to purchase many items and software from Aflac to be able to perform their duties and that becomes very expensive. Agents don't receive enough compensation for all the work they do and all the expenses they incur. It's expensive to work at Aflac!"
