What do you like about working at Cedars Sinai Medical Center?
"The staff I managed needed to feel their contributions are appreciated. They were not used to working for a manager like myself and after a short period of time they learned that I treated them as I would like to be treated. I had an excellent team."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be yourself and go with your gut. If it doesn't feel like the right fit for yourself then try for something different. It's very important to work somewhere where you feel your contributions will be appreciated. We spend so much time working so make it the best fit for yourself."
What don't you like about working at Cedars Sinai Medical Center?
"The management structure. I worked for a woman who was very intimidated by my leadership. For example she is not a people person. What she wasn't able to accomplish with developing staff I was able to do in 2 months. Their focus is more on image than people."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Focus more on the people that work there and you can go further than you even imagined. Treat people as you like to be treated."
