"Love the independence and the freedom to act within my authority and "just handle it". Founders are a great group to work for, very down to earth, authentic. Some days it's crazy - things are moving super fast so there are a LOT of balls in the air. I have a great team though."

"I suggest to work more in advertising, marketing in general, cuase is a great company but some people do not know"

"PLEASE work here IF you like being underpaid, undervalued and overworked."

What do you like about working at EQIS?

"casual dress code and flexibility in hours. Nice area to work in. Pizza day wednesday and the occasional social gathering."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Ask a LOT of questions. Don't let their friendliness fool you. Make sure you find out exactly what you're expected to do and who you will be directly reporting to. Ask specifically about TRAINING.Also be sure to check salary scale."

What don't you like about working at EQIS?

"lack of clarity, no direction or training schedule. Poor communication of expectations. Disjointed structure and passive aggressive office culture. Inequality in pay. Unprepared to train or provide set up or equipment for new employees. Does not listen to employee input to improve/ increase productivity or saving money. Parking nearby is expensive."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"figure out what's important in hiring new employees: personality vs experience, breadth or depth in knowledge of platform. Have in place a clear structured training that includes introductions to all departments to help find one's niche."

"You do meet some wonderful people. Lots of students with inspiring stories. Really the students are the best part."

"Ask for the job description. Ask when the last time it was changed. Ask what the previous person in that position was let go for."

What don't you like about working at Charter College?

"Horrible training, constant chaos. Nobody knows for sure what they're doing. Very unprofessional."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get control of you company. Give your employees some training and a clear idea of what they're supposed to be doing. Improve communication across the board. Nobody knows what anyone else is doing or supposed to be doing. So there's no stop-gap if a problem comes up."

"I got to communicate with a lot of convalescent homes, and helped them get the products they needed."

"you need to watch your back. some people are friendly, but not helpful. management has favoritism."

What don't you like about working at Interactive Medical Systems?

"some employees were back stabbers. I would asked them if they are doing anything with inventory. they would say no, so I would take the initiative to do something, only to find out that or boss had asked them to make a report."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"when having a meeting, please include everyone involved. make sure there is team work."

"Get agreements in writing. Make sure you are both on the same page."

"The last year they had severe cutbacks and changed our agreement. It turned very negative."

"Be honest and up-front with employees and don't change agreements. Allow employees to take vacation and personal time off without threat of firing."

"Owner of school is volatile, gruff and totally unprofessional"

What do you like about working at Keystone Technical Institute?

"I have met a few nice co-workers. The autonomy to do things, or so I thought. Helping the students. Networking with other professionals."

"RUN! Do NOT work for Keystone Technical Instittue. It is a terrible work environment and bascially a diploma mill."

What don't you like about working at Keystone Technical Institute?

"The totally volatile owner of the company. The WORST, most unprofessional example of leadership I have ever personally experienced. He fired 8-9 people in 3 months and 2-3 others quit. And this was across all departments (admissions, mangagement, faculty) Changes his mind from one day to the next on policies/procedures. The owner simply wants to be surrounded by a bunch of yes men/women. He leads by intimidation and fear, not encouragement or example."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"No suggestions able to be given, since the owner of the school IS the problem."

"Ask about all the lawsuits against them. Research public record lawsuits. Ask to talk to current and previous employees."

"The Board of Directors run the association even though there is an Executive Director. The Board are all retired and think they know how to run assoc. Outdated mgmt philosophies. unethical accounting practices. Board asks employees to do things they shouldn't . Executive Director is not strong enough to support staff."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get a non-resident Board with relevant/current work exp. Don't fire sr mgrs when they object to wrongful methods. Get an ED with better accounting and management skills."

"The ability to take on a task and make it my own. I follow best practices and my mgr was usually willing to let me look into new technologies if I could prove a value."

"None really...it was a long time ago. It's a small company so there's opportunities to be involved in alot but very few ways to advance and grow within the company."

"No room for growth...but again this was 2005...I've grown alot since then."

"I seemed to have a sense of lack of professionalism within the company. People forget that sometimes you can still be a laid back and fun environment but still be professional."
