"It feels like the only way you can make more money is by switching jobs inside the company becuase most teams are so small there really is not much room to grow."

"talk about the student experience! It's massively important right now."

"Unreasonable distribution of workloads mean some people are massively busy and some are fine, with other departments including people who are bored as they don't have enough."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I'd organise departments by subject areas, not job areas. That way, people wouldn;t have as many horribly busy periods/ far too quiet periods as everybody would be able to support each other at all times."

"The silos that exist in the department prevent any completion of work and create competition."

"I would actually devote my time to my job description."

"It used to be a good place with good intentions, but that was many years ago. The buildings are pretty nice and the A/C works."

"Don't do it. You are far to good for that place."

"Intimidation tactics. People take themselves way too serious there. They deceive students and encourage them to go way, way, way into debt. If you're an DC or Dean, don't expect to be there long."

"They are beyond help; complete idiots. Don't believe me Go find out for yourself then. But don't forget I warned you."

"To set down with all employees to see if that have too much work or not enough. Even out the work load."

"I had a very good and understanding boss at this company. I enjoyed more independence in this position and the fact that most of our clients were local."

"Be yourself and let them know why you are qualified for the position. Make sure you express interest in the details and history of the company."

"I wasn't able to utilize my knowledge or strengths to the extent I wanted to. As an administrator, a lot of the work was repetitive and mindless. I took this position because I wanted to explore other opportunities and because it used some of my experience in retirement benefits. However, I needed more of a challenging atmosphere."

"Try and challenge your employees and keep them interested in the work. Take them to client meetings, get them involved, and teach any time you get the opportunity."
