"Love the independence and the freedom to act within my authority and "just handle it". Founders are a great group to work for, very down to earth, authentic. Some days it's crazy - things are moving super fast so there are a LOT of balls in the air. I have a great team though."

"I had a hard time adapting to the Ecuadorian style of work. My goal was to implement the western idea of tourism into the style of customer service. I couldn't fulfill this goal 100% because of the extreme difference in culture and work ethic. I enjoyed learning different manners of work, and appreciated the time I got to spend with national tourists which opened my eyes to providing satisfactory service to all."

"I am the type of person who likes to multitask. As a Closeout Administrator, I was confined to doing one task only. I like performing Office Management instead."

"I love the fact that it is logic based. I love getting complicated problems that I have to troubleshoot, and the sense of accomplishment when I have completed a task.I hate when I have spent hours trying to solve a problem only to find that it would have been a simple bios setting that needed to get something working."

"I love organizing. Being well organized helps dividing networks and tasks into accomplishable tasks. I dislike when systems go down. Not because I dislike correcting problems, but because a down system negatively impacts co-workers."

Administrator at Image Systems & Business Solutions
in Elk Grove Village, IL

Please give us a one liner to describe this review.

"Overall, a waste of my time."

What do you like about working at Image Systems & Business Solutions?

"I enjoy working with two of the 39 other employees there."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't even waste your time interviewing with them. They have one of the highest turn over rates, I have ever seen, it is like a revolving door. The owner will promise you the sun, moon and stars to get you there but then when it comes down to signing paperwork, all the terms will be different and he will blame it on the VP."

What don't you like about working at Image Systems & Business Solutions?

"The place is a joke, it is often referred to as the clown factory or the land of the misfits. The company mostly consists of sales people and the crazier/weirder the person, the quicker they get hired. Dave, the owner likes different type of people but then after he hires them, he is never there to see the type of people/workers they really are. Most of them just come and go as they please, barely sell anything and just collect their base salary paycheck. As far as management goes, it is divided up between the owner or the VP. However, neither one can make a decision without consulting the other, so any issue that needs to be addressed or resolved takes FOREVER. The owner does not like confrontation so anytime there is an issue presented to him, he will literally run the other way and avoid the situation for as long as possible. If the VP is gone, everything she does stops, so if a customer has a questions about something or needs something, it is too bad so sad for them, they will just have to wait a week for her to return and then get back to them, if she feels like getting back to them. The majority of the office people can not think out of the box, meaning they are little robots and will not go out of their way the slightest bit to assist a customer, extremely poor customer service. The building is a dump, there is a bee infestation in the ceiling that management just ignores so there are dead bees all over the floor for customers to see when they come in. It is right next to a hotel that is rumored to house a prostitution ring."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Address issues in a timely manner, learn how to make decisions on your own, don't avoid your employees just because you don't like confrontation."

Administrator at Autodesk
in San Rafael, CA

Please give us a one liner to describe this review.

"Drastic overspending, undercommitted to employees."

What do you like about working at Autodesk?

"Smart employees, nice buildings, nice offices for the most part."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Worklife seems flexible but it is not -- it's constant availability. Cold environment."

What don't you like about working at Autodesk?

"In my experience they were cutting marrow and bone and to the detriment of the company, carelessly, and without regard for people who had devoted themselves to the company, some of them for decades, and apparently because some of these folks were at the higher income levels. Senseless spending, senseless cuts, mindless, cold, calculating, unpleasant place to work. At times bordering on cruelty in its coldness. In my own situation I feel delighted to be free of the company, but I was completely devoted and I do believe it was a senseless cut. As one admin said, Autodesk is spending like a drunken sailor, and I witnessed the senselessness first hand and then the cruelty of the cuts. They then asked many employees to come back as temporary workers without benefits and at lower wages."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Take a look at ALL spending, as if you were a family on a budget; stop senseless overspending and keep employees who make money for the company."
