"Be careful what you ask for. They expect all but admins to be available 24/7. Working for a beer company is not as great ass you think it would be."

"The pay is very low for the level of work. My supervisor could not even do the work I was accomplishing. You have to kiss up to retain a job."

"I would not restructure my company everytime my numbers went down. I would keep good employees with proven track records rather than hire college graduates. I would have less meetings and communicate better."

"The interaction between my co-workers and management. We became a family. Everyone was approachable and always willing to give assistance to accomplish a task."

"Be yourself, be honest, innovative and creative. Be prepared to think out of the box this organization stives on the next big venture and those that bring it to fruition."
What don't you like about working at General Electric?
"GE as a company is a wonderful place to work. It offers a great compensation package, it allows a balance between worklife and office. It allow for personal growth if you are willing and able to relocate."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"In our particular office we are going through a big relocation and restructuring. Decisions were made that has and will take the organization in different direction at a price of it employees. My hope is the new organization retains the integrity that brought it to where it is today and made people want to come to work everyday."

"No growth potential to advance career in accounting field as trained"

"College enrollment has decreased so many cutbacks. Hiring more in recruiting."
What do you like about working at Ashland Chemical?
"I like the friendly environment, the supportive staff, and the close relationships the staff form with each other. I like that the university has a great understanding of work-life balance (good hours, holidays off, adjusted summer hours, etc). I like working with a lot of different people and interacting with coworkers, students, and employers."

"Be sure to talk about your enthusiasm for higher education and serving students - that's why we are here!"
What don't you like about working at Ashland Chemical?
"I don't like that it is very hard to advance at Ashland University. I didn't think it would take so long for me to advance/change titles, but my title hasn't changed yet. I learned I can't advance in my current division until I get my Master's degree, which I still have to pay half for even though I work here, and I have to wait 5 years after my hire date to start the program if I wish for the university to pay half. That is 3.5 years from now."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"If I were running the show, I would change the employee benefits to cater to whether an employee is full-time or part time, so that all full-time employees have the same benefit plan. Even though I work full-time, like the rest of my staff, my benefits are different from theirs because I am paid hourly. I get less time off and less sick time even though I work full-time, just because I'm paid hourly."

"I don't feel that there is any suggestion for the management at this time, they do a great job."

"I really enjoyed the interaction between faculty and students and assisting them."

"Be confidant and sure of yourself. Loma Linda is a world class university. Don't be discouraged if you don't get the first position you apply for. Keep trying."

"The only thing that I can think of would be the sometimes heavy work load. At busy times of the year; such as graduation, it was very hectic and the workload could be very stressful."

"I really don't have any suggestions. The management team was amazing and assisting me in any way they could"
