What do you like about working at AVL North America?
"I worked with a great butch of individuals. The flexible schedule allowed me to adjust my schedule when need be. Which allowed me to attend my childrens sporting events or other school meetings or conferences."

"Be proper, well advised about the company, and be yourself."
What don't you like about working at AVL North America?
"Some individuals were a little stuck up, or seemed like they were bigger than the administrative assistants. They were not team players, only working for a pay check not for the company to help the business grow."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management needs to relize that cutting all of the indians, and keeping so many cheif won't pull the business out of the hole they put themselve in. Working as a team and not just an individual all of time just doesn't always work."

"To learn that everyone in the company can have input, don't judge someone by the position they hold."

"DON'T TAKE THE JOB UNLESS YOU NEED THE MONEY & BE QUICK TO FIND ANOTHER JOB BECAUSE THERE IS NO JOB SECURITY. IT'S LIKE A REVOLVING DOOR IN THAT PLACE PEOPLE WALK IN & OUT ALL THE TIME."

"Fast paced environment, sharpened my attention to details, helped me become a harder worker."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Do not underestimate this position. The work involved is extremely fast paced and the management with switch you around from manager to manager as often as they feel. My manager called it musical chairs, and although you learn everyone within the company, you have to basically start at square 1 every time you are moved. It can be difficult to handle the stress of rapid change like that."
What don't you like about working at Omni Financial Group?
"This position is known as a revolving door. They hire a large number of employees and then fire as quickly as possible. There are new trainees every week and Thursday is firing day. A quick search about the company will reveal a number of other former employees who feel the same way as I."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I suggest they pay more attention to their employees and realize that changing employees as often as they do can actually hurt their number 1 priority--the profits."

"Understand that it may not be long term as it was in the past. People were hired and expected to be at Ford for their careers. It is not always that way anymore."

"Under the circumstances, the employment situation. Watching so many good people let go was tough."

"When I worked in south shop I loved everything about working at NUMMI. Management was great. Loved the people, the work, the surroundings. Everything.... than went to North Shop sad ."

"Ask a lot of questions. Make sure the position that you are wanting is going to meet you expectation as well as his or hers."
What don't you like about working at New United Motor Manufacturing?
"North Shop was bad management, unfavorable conditions. Lack of interaction, suggestions to improve matters. Just poorly run."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management should invest a little more time paying attention to suggestion. Give breaks when needed to go to the bathroom. Investigate more throughly what really the figures are trying to tell them Work as a team. Improve communication from one department to another and within."
