"Be sure to make it very clear that you intend to be a permanent employee, and desire to continue with the company for future projects. Explain your skills and explain what you have to offer the company."
What don't you like about working at Turner Construction?
"There was only one employee who was in upper management who conducted my review, and made serious blunders with that review. Specifically, when I asked him if any thought had been given as to which project I could go to next, he told me with a smirk on his face, No, we do not lay awake at night and worry about your career! That is the only reason that I did not go on to another project with Turner. And that person is no longer with Turner."

"Monitor the managers more closely in what they are doing. Listen to the employees."

"It was a good way to get a foot in the door. I've found when an employer can try you on and see how well you work, it is easier to get hired."

"I didn't enjoy the stigma of being a temp and I found that trying to figure out how much to withhold in taxes to be, well, taxing."
