"Simply understand that positions offered are of a temporary nature without any real chance of obtaining a permanent position."

"The assignments are temporary and I do not have any benefits."

"Establish long term relationships and reduce the fee charged for permanent placement."

"The training, they are great at giving you the tools that you need to make sure that you're successful."

"This is a fall back company that you need to stay looking for a job if you get this job, they pretty much hire anybody that applies there because their turnover is so high. You will get great phone training and learn how to make high volume cold calls."

What don't you like about working at Accountemps?

"Terrible management, your work is NEVER good enough, everybody there will stab you in the back to steal a sale if they can, mangers will lie about getting you a raise to get you to work harder and will say that they are on a freeze to get you more money when the time comes."

"Don't lie, practice what you preach, don't set unrealistic expectations, and don't promise a raise when you have no intentions of giving it."

"Be positive this is the right environment for you. It is extremely high volume, long hours."

"This was not a very team-oriented environment. It was very micro-managed and high volume."

"Make sure you represent job expectations accurately to your candidates before they come on board."

"I worked as a temp, I would have liked to be a real bank employee."

"Be yourself. These guys are looking for specific people, and if you aren't yourself they will know and pass you by."

"I don't get a lot of support from the estimators, there is a lot of cussing in the workplace, and there aren't a lot of people who understand or care what it is I do."

"Less cussing in the workplace, allow more access into estimator records (go wireless, using iPads or tablets, and less paper records)."

What do you like about working at Accountemps?

"This temporary agency is full of sh....! They call you with jobs that don't exist and tell you that it has just been filled about twenty minutes ago. I have been registered for over a year and not once have they found anything for me. I have seen jobs and called them and they tell me they will send my resume and possible interview next week and never hear back from them. I tell them I can't drive a certain distance and the next call is for a position even further away. The New Haven branch is the worst."
