"If you have experience in your area, try another place. If you are a friend or relative you a pretty much a guaranteed a job."
What don't you like about working at The Continental Group?
"The VP of Finance is explosive and tempermental. In 3 1/2 years had 3 sets of executves in different positions roll over, 4 different A/P managers. We took over a new region and no information provided to support personnel resulting in erroneous information and transactions. Rumors of ACH client payments being pulled before invoices produced to client to meet payrolls. A/P personnel are loaded up with properties (some of them 78 in one week) while expected to provide perfect inormation. You can get written up for not responding to one email in 24 hours when supervisers and VP's do not respond at all."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"First Service will never be able to completely swallow Continental as they wish especially in Boca. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. When I was hired my pay level was at a G/L Bookkeeper level doing an Accounts Payable job as a result no annual reviews in 2 years after asking multiple time. Never a raise.. Have First Service take over entirely. Get rid of upper level RD's who use their properties to give their releatives and colleagues jobs. Accounting personnel are not qualified for even the year end 1099 process but yet are forced to sign their names on the transmittals. First Service needs to put the hammer down. It's not how well you work but who you know."

"This is a good Company, but ruthless should the economy turn."

"The gossip, the cubicles and the inability of the Controller to be professional."

"Allow people from within to grow and be placed in higher positions instead of hiring from outside."

"If the Company obtains financing, opportunities are incredible and I could make a good salary"

"To have a good resume along with documents with you."

"No stability, the Chairperson can be difficult, the information is not shared."

"To have and include more staff into meetings where decisions are made."

"It is laid back and easy. Slim chance of being promoted."

"Take the job if you don't have one. Don't take the job if you are trying to start a long-term career with a well known company. Very competitive with low pay."

"It is more political than talent oriented when getting promoted. Employee turnover is high and management does little to help advance the careers of associates."

"Less employees and higher salaries for employees. Managers working more directly with associates."

"The only thing I would suggest to other interviewing for this company is to stay away."

"Not enough work to keep my busy. The manager telling me to look busy."

"Make sure your employee is well informed of what he/she is doing and you know what they are doing at all time. Make sure the employee is busy or given something to do that is related to the business."

"If you like working with people, fun place. If trying to move up in the Corporate ladder you had better know someone or get in with the Boys Club"

"No freedom to make decisions on your own. Company to worried about HR issues."

"Look into situations with more details and give a person the benefit of the doubt that they know what they are doing."

"Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear to God you will regret it for the rest of your life!!!!!!!!!"

"The management doesnt respect me and tell me that I am expendable. I feel like I'm working in a prison where the wardens are the HR Department and are constantly watching me on a multitude of cameras. I can even go to the bathroom without a question and answer session. No one that works for the company is happy. With the size to the cubicles I feel that it would be better to actually be in prison and in some states it definitely pays more!!! A miserable pointless waste of life working there!!!!"

"Fire all managers and hire competent and encouraging management to take their place!!!!"

"It was in the funeral industry - sad times for the families of our clients"

"It would have been nice for the owners to acquire other related companies at a slower rate - they grew very quickly."

"This is a the worst company I ever work. The Vice President Accounting is a bad boss. She (KIm Knotts) does not delegate the work as describe to me when she hired me. The company does not care only their own big people."

"Don't go to this company. Search it first the turn over is too high. I'm sure you can find something out there. It was a mistake for me going to this work. They obviously fake and no mankind."
What don't you like about working at WinCup?
"I don't like the culture and the environment. Their doors are not secured, they don't have any camera. Their IT is sucks cannot support my reports I do to work from home. I have to create 150 reports from their old excel files. No development and not a good quality of people especially the Kim Knotts that always talk to certain people in the department."

"No suggestions. They will go down eventually. Not a good environment to work for."

"Able to communicate to company owner directly and nice coworker."

"Please asking clear job descriptions and role in the company in writing."

"Minimum rewards and appreciation, not matching to heavy workload and time."

"More rewards and self improvement support, have workloads that sufficient with working hours."
