"Headquarters is creepy to work at - beyond having zero morale, the building itself is 4 times too big for the staff level, so you have all this unused space that adds to this already strange environment."

"Stay away to keep your sanity and your wine bills low."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Very dysfunctional place to work - if the employees are not on any meds are drinking heavily they will be soon."

"Nothing other than I've made a few life long friends"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't come here now. Wait for a great review. I've seen too many people come in get hired then get fired. They don't care about turn over, they don't care about your qualifications. If you are the type that is a sheep, you follow no questions asked, you keep your head down, you can walk in a place w/o saying good morning & walk out w/o saying bye, you don't socialize with anyone big small red blue or green then you'll fit in fine."
What don't you like about working at KLS-Martin?
"This company is run, not by the owners, by the wrong people given too much power. They no longer are employee friendly, they no longer care if the employee is happy. The sales reps are the golden children while the worker bees, support staff, the back bone of the company are the redheaded stepchildren."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"LISTEN to your employees. Do an anonymous survey so you can hear what they really think & feel. Having a holiday party ONCE a year & thinking that's enough isn't enough! The employees in Jacksonville are busting humps for KLS but are put down, ignored, reprimanded for the bad but what about appreciation for the good they do Stop hiring people because the interviewer likes them & hire people that are qualified. Instead of firing good quality people for one offense give them a chance to make corrections to actions, what happened to write ups & warnings"

"I would avoid interviewing with Edmund if at all possible."
What don't you like about working at Edmund Optics?
"Just about everything. Some family businesses are great places to work. Sadly Edmund is not one of them. Every decision (big and small) has to be approved by the owners daughter. Its so bad that qualified directors/managers are unable to have any real power/ impact. Even mundane tasks like buying supplies for the restrooms are handled by the owners daughter. Who buys cough drops to place in a public (or private!) restroom Crazy."

"Allow management to do make the decisions they were hired for."

"Don't believe what they say on interview. Please don't walk into 13401 & 13451 and get trapped if you are professional in Business / Accounting. You must waste your time & life."

"Extremely unprofessional & hostile work environment. Management was terrible. They isolated you with old employees. You did not know why and what you are hired for."

"COO always made broken promises. Replace management may be the only way if they want to make business grow."

"Close to home. That was only good part, Coldest place I ever worked."

"Run as far as you can. If you need a job real bad thn take it but continue to send out resumes.,"
What don't you like about working at Mada Medical?
"Owner was crazy. He would stand by front door at 8:30 to see who came in at 8:31 so he could yell at them. CFO has the worst breath In the world and sports suites from seventies. Computers are not linked via network. People still use floppies to back up work. Place is stuck on 1985. No cell phones or texting at work."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Improve working conditions by giving employees room to do the jobs they where hired to do. You dont have to micro manage every tiny detail that people do. CFO needs dental appointment ASAP. Just because yu pay people doesnt give you the right to make there lives hell."

"It would be nice to get the matching 401K back."

"Horrible software for accounting. Lots of loss and antiquated ways of doing business. Takes too long to bill customers and pay many clients. Very frustrating knowing we have not paid for services over 180 days"

"Upgrade the financial software. We need to make billing and accounting easier."

"Nothing. Nothing. Not one good thing to say. Nothing. This place is hell."

"DO NOT TAKE THE JOB. They make it seems so great using words like global company. ..growing..another favorite is very few companies this size have headoffice headquartered in BC...none of this matteresthey use u abuse you the ruin your career and eventually discard you."

"Everything...managment is horrible. Work is manual and mind numbing. No recognition. Long hours."

"All managers should be fired and new ones with leadership skills and vision should be brought in. Stop lying to employees."

"Worst company to work with. They are chinese and very races people they only hire chinese people if someone other than chiense ethnicity get a job they will give you hard time and lay you off for only reason that you are not chinese"

"DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. THERE WOULD BE OTHER OPPORTUNITIES WHICH ARE BETTER THAN WORKING WITH MORRISON. IF YOU GO THERE YOU WILL FACE DISCRIMINATION"
