"I've been working for Xerox for three years, through an acquisition. Although I like my job and my co-workers, the company does not seem to have much consideration for the morale and career opportunities of it's employees."
"I've worked in diverse companies, in diverse positions for example, IT Support, IT Developer, IT Infrastructure, Project Manager and PM Global Specialist in charge of hardware and software implementations. Currently I coordinate the successful implementation using diverse methodologies such as Scrum, Agile, TTM process and more. In charge of managing the UAT process and all the plans involved. Reporting to high managers and working with organizations all over the World (USA, Europe, and more)."
"I was with Xerox Corp for last 1 year in contract, as company, I like the environment and team support there."
"ACS is not a great company to work for. They do not offer good benefits and they hire micro managers who stifle creativity. They will not pay you what you are worth although they will promise to in order to get you to stay."
"Xerox was a great place to have many different job types but remain with the same company. I value my experiences there for learning both line jobs, research & development jobs and staff jobs. The people I worked with are all very smart and I learned many things from them. The Palo Alto Research team was very inspiring and took the time to help me learn new technology and applications for it through out the time I worked with them."
"This company was ok but way too micro managed. I loved my job, just the place I worked for so much. They should have found better ways to utilize their company time."
"Bad, bad place to work at. Does not care for their employees, no job security, no raises, rewards or recognition. This used to be a great company, now it is constantly outsourcing to low-cost labor centers. The benefits get worse every year, no room to grow."
"Wish I could be more positive but with no raises, unprofessional managers and a back biting set of co-workers, it's kind of difficult. Old, outdated training materials, favoritism and a crab in a barrel mentality make it hard to be excited about going to work every morning. On the upside, if your manager likes you, you'll get away with damn near anything. Out for half the month No problem. Not making quality quotas Not a problem. Abusing your lunch and break times Who cares"
"I wouldn't recommend this company at this point as they seem to be more interested in outsourcing than developing local talent. While they offered comparable pay and flexibility while it lasted, I had to trade a lot of nights and weekends to work overtime and often asked to sacrifice my vacation plans, and offered no comp time in return. I also found that my managers and coworkers were put under a lot of pressure and saw a lot of turnover, even while they were also making job cuts at the same time."
"This was the worst place that I've ever worked. There is abusive/illegal labor practices like telling employees to work less hours so that they avoid accumulating overtime (this violates federal law). If there are promotions, they are given without any pay increases. The company has not given line managers or entry level employees raises since 2008. It is now the end of 2013. Poor compensation. There is lack of respect and professionalism at all levels."
"I have worked for Xerox for almost 1 year and I am thankful I have the opportunity."
"Xerox is a global company. In the past few years promotions, pay increases and raises have been extremely limited. I am a very driven and loyal person and I am unsatisfied with the lack of opportunities within my current organization and growth. Although Xerox has opportunities some departments, because of business leverage, are not as supportive in allowing employees to venture outside of the division. I have to continue my course on my career path and press forward aggressively."
"I've worked for Xerox Company for 3 years. Xerox has treated me good. Recently was laid off due to mismanagement of the FORD Client. Xerox could have done a better job of hiring competent managers. Xerox executives have no clue as to what does on with Managers. I would have second thoughts for working for Xerox again"
"worst job I have ever had, the job itself was dealing with booking cruises and that was a ton of fun and I excelled at it but the management was horrible! They under paid me, would talk down to you like you were dumb and the communication about pay from one manager to another was completely different. They still cannot provide proof or documentation on how their pay structure actually works and if you need help the managers with say I don't know. I ended up quitting and will never refer anyone"
"I worked for Xerox from Feb 2008 to Jan 2013. I found the job very challenging and rewarding."
