"Run!!! Run fast, run far!!!! Don't do it. With regard to sr mgmt - no on dares to tell the emperor she/he has no clothes! Objections result in unemployment"

What don't you like about working at Xerox?

"The word empowerment must have been assigned a new meaning in the Webster dictionary. Xerox keeps talking about empowerment, but I have to have 5 levels of approval to book an airline ticket - I'm not even empowered to determine what clients I need to see and when - it takes a month to plan on seeing a client."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop ignoring our current business - clients who have done business with Xerox for years are fed up with the support and service"

What do you like about working at Xerox?

"The people. Smart, sharp people that would go out of their way to help you."

What don't you like about working at Xerox?

"Lack of commitment to continuing hardware products. You are loosing a large resource in engineering talent."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"There are a lot of companies in the services industry, think twice before abandoning printer development."

"This company was close to my home and I was able to bridge my time from another company."

"The hire by personality. Be friendly and smile. Show your enthusiasm."

What don't you like about working at Xerox?

"The company culture is difficult to work with. If you were not an employee for over 20 years you were considered to not know anything."

"Hire better qualified people and stop thinking about what was done in the past. New ideas can help the company."

"Lost technology and business opportunities because of cultural complacency and political nature of decision processes."

"Too late to save the company. It has lost technology leadership and is being led by wrong people."

"Worries about the financial state of the company. It has decided to exit its printer business"

"Management needs to make long term decisions about the company"

"Nothing! I like some of my coworkers. A lot of the great ones have already left."

"Avoid at all costs, the place is going down.... Unless you are in India then maybe you can flourish with this company."

What don't you like about working at Xerox?

"The place feels like a sinking ship. There have been no raises for years. The HCL outsourcing was such a terrible idea. The timing with cancelling future product projects killed any morale that may have been left. Everyone who can is quitting and going to new jobs."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Go back 2 years in time and do things differently next time. Give Raises. Treat us with respect. Don't farm jobs out to India. You can't expect us to stick around when we see how you treat our coworkers.... no loyalty, shame on you Ursula and cohorts"

"It's a job. They pay you on time. The people left over from the Tektronix days are awesome."

"I would not suggest interviewing at Xerox if you have any other options."

What don't you like about working at Xerox?

"It's a job. They have no plans to do R&D in the future."

"Change all upper management. They have no vision or leadership other than sending jobs to India and China."

"It provides a very flexible envrironemnt; good balance between life and work. Managers are very supportive."

"Sorry, I don't think so. Each interview has his/her own perspective towards interview. Tips don't help during interview, need to show who you are."

"Oracle Database environment is very stable; no challenge after work for 4-5 years."

"Focus more on technical innovation; push harder to migrate databases to newer versions."

"The amount and length of meetings during a work week"

"The amount of layers one have to encounter to get specific and important task are too many"

"Constant re-organization and management changes. Contant leadership changes askew the direction and cause for internal confussion"

"minimal career growth, can do better in the way we do the work"

"There are some very wonderful people that work here. Diverse opportunities within, but will need to network and know people to access them."

"I honestly cannot recommend working for Xerox. I have done everything ever asked of me, and have been ignored by the company. I have had 7 managers in under 5 years. Little stability, poor vision at the top."

What don't you like about working at Xerox?

"Pay is poor. Increases are infrequent. Company is happy to pile on responsibility, but will not compensate for a job well done."

"Take care of your people. It's a tough economy, but if you burn out your people, there will be an exodus and the real trouble will begin."

"The only suggestion I would have would be to have a stronger line of communication between management and the employees."

"The company seems too big and can't possibly meet the needs of it employees. Right now they are buying many different companies and seem to be trying to figure out where they want to go."

"The inability to know their employees and realize what value they bring to the company"

"Properly align the right manager that understands all the job functions for all the employees he or she has. Management had to learn what we did and had no idea what we did and or how we did our job."

"No raises were given and I worked there for a whole year."

"More raises to employees because we do work hard to try and keep these students in school."
