"I have worked for chase for 10 months, and i must say it was a great experience. I would recommend this position to someone at the entry level position. Overall it's a great place to get a start on your career, there is definitely a lot to learn, and there is tons of documentation, that will keep you busy and proficient in doing your job."

Working at JPMorgan in Westmont, IL: 1 Employee Reviews

JPMorgan Employee

"I worked briefly with JPM, along with two other people, as Senior Operations Analyst in what was a relatively brand-new created department. We worked with VIP loans before sending them to the next department. The training was top-notch. I liked everyone I worked with. I did not like how I was let go, though. Like everything during COVID-19, the economy is taking a beating: so businesses have to cut costs. My department was let go: me and three other people were let go. We were consultants. I understand being let go, because the company does not have money and times are tough, but being told that I wasn't "catching on" fast enough, three weeks and three days into a job position that requires detailed training, whether that's taking compliance classes or studying procedure: this makes me disappointed enough to not recommend JPM to any person looking for work with them, whether in a temp. to perm situation or otherwise. The compensation was great. The people I worked with and my manger were great, what isn't great: once they let you go, you can't work for JPM or any of it's subsidiaries. I could understand not having that opportunity if I did something wrong, violated procedure or policy, but I did not. It's disappointing JPM has to parse words, instead of having the guts to say: "hey man, we gotta let you go, the economy is bad and we can't afford you", I'd have more respect for them if they had gone about it that way. I was not aware they let me go until I could not login remotely and had my recruiter explain the situation to me. Disappointed something great had to go sour so soon."
