"lots of travel, if you like that-rack up those FF miles. The work is not very difficult but can be a little repetitive at times although every customer is different and every audience has certain needs. Zonar provides ok pay but can make 45-50k with a good amount of travel pay and OT"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Always be on time, be prepared before you go on-site for training by yourself and take advantage of the initial training time that is given to you when you first start otherwise you will fall behind on your work and it can be difficult to catch up."
What don't you like about working at Zonar Systems?
"I am finding that promotion opportunities can be very limited. Also, even though the company generously provides free healthcare/ dental for employees, the cost to add a dependent is extremely high, around $5k/ year and close to $9k/ year for a family!!!! Ridiculous."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"There are few key personnel that really know their stuff and it can be difficult sometimes to get proper training on products and troubleshooting help when there's only a few level ll employees that may not always have the motivation/time to provide assistance. Also, re-work the health plan for employees with dependents."
