If you want people to have a voice, then you have to let them say what they want in a real, open and honest way - not just pay lip service to that ideal. If you want to motivate people, then don't just talk a good game and disappear, be engaged and present throughout.Just because someone has an approach or idea that is new/different/unusual doesn't automatically make it wrong or threatening or bad. Those who own the company need to recognize that they have abdicated responsibility for running it to one person - someone who is fundamentally incapable of doing the job. That person is too self-absorbed, too arrogant and too petulant to do anything but engage in constant self-promotion, while pushing all blame onto those around her.
