"Company would be great if it pulled its head out of its..."

What do you like about working at WORLDWAYS?

"Company's own aspirations (We Take Sides. If you help people, we'll help you.)Creative talent.Clients."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Talk up the importance of social media... virtually no-one person in the whole company has any real experience in this area, but they're all entranced and enthralled by it."

What don't you like about working at WORLDWAYS?

"Boss completely hands off - until things are about to blow up, then rushes in, makes things worse and leaves.Too clique-ish.Too much influence concentrated in too few hands. No real job descriptions.Aspirations not matched by ability/drive/commitment of principals.Instead of utilizing the talents and experiences of hires, try to force hires to adopt their (ineffective/inefficient) mannerisms and work-practices."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"If you want people to have a voice, then you have to let them say what they want in a real, open and honest way - not just pay lip service to that ideal. If you want to motivate people, then don't just talk a good game and disappear, be engaged and present throughout.Just because someone has an approach or idea that is new/different/unusual doesn't automatically make it wrong or threatening or bad. Those who own the company need to recognize that they have abdicated responsibility for running it to one person - someone who is fundamentally incapable of doing the job. That person is too self-absorbed, too arrogant and too petulant to do anything but engage in constant self-promotion, while pushing all blame onto those around her."
