"My direct manager. He really tried to support and teach me."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Make sure that in coming people are given realistic information on compensation packages as well as money they need to put out for licensing, fairs to try and get customers, other internet sites for searching for customers etc. Chose candidates that are young and newly out of school. Chances are the amount in their base pay won't be an issue to them and they might have a more agressive demeanour when it comes to sales. Make sure that a new candidate is aware that they will pay out a lot of their own money in order to get sales and that they will also be pushed to sell to their own family and friends first up."

What don't you like about working at Western & Southern?

"Felt that I was lead down the primrose lane. The office manager that hired in associates misrepresented the compensation for payouts on money you accrue per sales made. (During interview process showed me a check a big time sales rep was getting and I thought the compensation was instantaneous and hence took the job.) Come to find out that you had to accrue a certain amount of sales etc and that the guarantee was not really there to get paid additional money over the amount you were getting as base unless you were one of the lucky sales people to get good customers during first year in sales."
