"Nature of my own work, opportunity to work with other assistants in a corroborative manner, I enjoyed rewarding working relationships with several exceptional project management professionals during my tenure."

"Mary Singer and her team are excellent to work with. No tips, just that there are a whole lot of politics that occur there."

What don't you like about working at Wellpoint?

"The overall 'culture' or feel of the company... in that the division I worked in were responsible for moving a lot of company jobs out of our country in the name of efficiency."

"Good entry level job. Good management. Good people to work with."

"No growth opportunity. They don't hire their contractors even after 2 years of steady employment."

"Account for long term retention of employees through the use of hiring, benefits, promotions, and raises."

"In the beginning I thought my life would now be great and with personal and career growth."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be careful. You don't always get what want or hear what your hear because things change in midstream. Money isn't everything if the people make your worklife miserable because of their own insecurities. Sometimes less pay is better if you work with understanding nice people."

What don't you like about working at Wellpoint?

"No flexibility, no compassion, and it was who you know that counted."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Know the people who work for you are your best investment instead of lining your own pockets. Getting bonuses for denial of claims is really quite heartless."

"I would like to change my position to the point that I can work from home but my manager isn't for it even though the company encourages it."

"Communication to be given across the team, not tidbits here and there by yours as well as other managers."
