"60 hour work weeks where typical. Compensation structure seemed very limited and not as robust as other companies. Limit opporunities to advance."

"Pay for performance for everyone. Develop a better work life balance."

"Working at NDIC was fast paced and deadline oriented job."
What do you like about working at New Directions Publishing?
"I like NDIC because we always had new projects that required different programming languages and different databases. It was always a new experience."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"As long as you have good presentation about yourself and know your programming. You should not have a problem working for this company."
What don't you like about working at New Directions Publishing?
"Often time I would lose sleep just to meet a deadline."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Needs to pace out the work instead on overloading us for a month and then having a couple of projects the next."

What do you like about working at Lockheed Martin?
"Everything, but especially the free coffee, tea and cocoa. The Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners were very nice. At our location, management really cared about its employees."

"Be honest and be nice. They like nice people."
What don't you like about working at Lockheed Martin?
"The Christmas parties were better the first two years I worked there when we had 500 LM people in Durham."

"Hire me back."
What do you like about working at Southern Methodist University?
"SMU as it is generally known remains one of the best global private educational institution in the USA. SMU gives me the aura of a professional learning environment as Java Developer and Web Programmer Student in 2002, in plano campus. Boosting some of the best labs from IT Vendors such as IBM and Sun Microsystemxs and strong IT Instructors, it compared to some of the best educational one can receicve from any leading education institution anywhere. With practical, hands-on instructions on basic J2SE to Servlets and core J2EE, and emphasis on writing and passing the SCJP Exams, the environment is a mix of Java Development production and professional education with real world IT profesionals."

"Just be Professional in every measure!"
What don't you like about working at Southern Methodist University?
"Hardly anything I can think of that I don't like, except that as a private educational institution, the cost of education can be high!"

"Seek candidates with strong characters and build enterprenurial skill in addition to management skills, while giving real-world experiences to students."

"Since I was on campus it allowed me to live at my campus housing for cheap instead of having to pay for an expensive apartment elsewhere."

"Don't sweat it. You don't need much knowledge going in, and even if you have a lot there's still something you'll learn coming out. Just be ready for a long period of doing small, meaningless projects."

"They didn't really challenge me much."

"Make sure you are challenging your employees, because a good challenge means good morale and a good morale means well done work."
