I am Deepesh Gopalakrishnan, currently working as an Battery Research Engineer - Intern at Mercedes Benz Research and Development North America, Redford, MI. I am PhD student at Wayne state university, about to defend my thesis in Feb 2020. At Wayne state, I focus on synthesis of electrode - electrolyte materials for long lived batteries through dendrite suppression. I have completed my dual masters in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from University of Madras, India after my bachelor's degree in Physics.
I have also worked as a Junior Research Fellow at IISER TVM, in Nanomaterials for Energy applications lab for 2 years, where I synthesized various 2D nanomaterials. I have published near 10 peer reviewed international journal articles and patented 3 of my findings in the materials field.

I'm afforded the opportunity of various challenging research in the field of bioinformatics, datamining and machine learning. My research area is currently on Big Data. As a teaching assistant, I'm afforded the opportunity of instructing various students which I enjoy so much.
I would say that they need to trim the fat more, they let workers get away with a lot of slacking. I would also say they need to run the place more as a business.
