What do you like about working at Vulcan Materials?

"Working for Vulcan Materials was a good company to work for the last 12 year, until the last year when both Upper management and line managers started taking kick backs and promoting famil member to management postions, to protect there kick backs. Lots of employee's lost their jobs because plants were closed and employees were laid off."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Beware of the corruption in the company"

What don't you like about working at Vulcan Materials?

"upper management would promote family to maangement postions without posting the postions. Also the racist remarks, and negitive remarks that were made by management and sales staff."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"quite hiring family members for management postions and quite taking kick backs"

"Great Company to work for or at list that was my exerience, great benefits, too bad there not doing well lately."

"Corporate is in Birminham, Al. upgreating their system constantly, interested in their employees well being, family oriented and very active in the Community"

"the managers and formen and any one that works in constuction are very male shovenist they don't like to hear that a women is wright ever."

"For this company they need to understand that administration is considered part of offce not because the office is in the same plant they get to be treated like their outside labor employees."
