"Ok place, company changing a lot."
"I've worked for Verizon for 6 years. I've had an opportunity to be promoted from a Network administrator to a Change Manager which has developed my skills in speaking formally/ informally with senior management, learning how to manage resources, working with a team, time mangement, and provide training to when needed."
"its great. cutting edge on the forefront of new technology"
"Verizon offers great benefit such as medical, dental, and vision. Pay tuition is one of the best offered. They are letting go of a lot of their season employees to replace them with younger and less qualified employees. Management needs to change their mindset, Business had changed a lot in the past 20 years."
"I've worked with Verizon for about five years now and I have to say it has taught me a lot of new skill sets. Good compensation, great benefits especially if you have a family, and 401k. As long as you are money hungry and don't mind talking to many people and at times sound like a broken record than I'd say this might be for you."
"I have worked for Verizon for a few years. It's a great place to learn operations - the company built a machine around GTM operations. But, it does not know how to be a good product company. Diffuse ownership and senior management that hasn't ever made products makes it difficult."
"Great benefits! Amazing compensation! The work culture is exceptional, very well rounded co-workers. Emphasis on one company, one Verizon to support client needs and emphasize our company recognition."
"Big company with broad global reach and many partners and products"
"I have worked for Verizon since early 2019. While the culture of the company has the presence of being employee friendly, the nature of the job will burn most people out very fast. The turnover rate is approximately 20 to 25 percent, The training does a decent job of preparing you for what to expect but can be incorrect due to the constant changes and poor communication from decision-makers."
"I worked for Verizon since 2006 when they acquired MCI Worldcom. There was always a bit of a competition between wireline and wireless. With the 5G initiative the focus is almost completely on the wireless ***die***. But if you work there now it is a good environment."
