"There is always room to make your company better but Verizon narrows that gap. They have taken pride in taking care of their employees. I have always enjoyed working in this company."
"I started at Cellular Sales a few months ago and I do very well. My only issues is it is only commission but they do not pay out commission until 4 months later. If a customer disconnects their service in 6 months then we have to pay what the retail price of the phones we sold them although we only got between $30.00-$100.00 in commission."
"The legal department is very rude"
"Great job for someone who is energetic and ready to do a lot of overtime. Full benefits from day 1. Must be quick on your feet and there is a high learning curve. Everyone is super respectful and coworkers fantastic but be ready for the boiler room."
"It is a decent place to work."
"They work people like dogs. You can be sick, there can be 10 feet of snow, emergency, you name it and they will find every reason for you to still make it as scheduled. Lunch is something of an American privilege that Verizon Wireless does not believe in. Sell with integrity is something that is said not really practiced, the bashing the customer with items that will just get returned. Company always finding corners to cut to not pay the reps."
"The pay and benefits are great, but it's a high pressure job and not ideal for the long term."
"The company I work for is in a transition period. We have recently completed and merger with a company location in Pennsylvania. After this merger, our compensation structure was changed, and the tools and resources provided has dwindled for no apparent reason. I have enjoyed working here, however, I am concerned about financial stability of this company."
"Solid company with ability to move upward. Number 1 in its industry and has the figures to back it up."
"This role is not for everyone. Politics abound."
