"What I loved about being a User Experience Design was that I got to learn more about consumer behavior, and how consumers think when they are using technology as well as websites. It's interesting to see how we design technology and improve the use of technology for our users. It had a unique combination of combining psychology concepts, business concepts, and critical thinking in this job. It is an emerging field due to grow rapidly in a couple of years. As of right now in 2015, it is hard to find another User Experience job without an advanced degree. However luckily, this job made me realize that I want to stick within the Industrial Organizational/ Human Behavior education for graduate school. In 2017, Santa Monica College is due to open up a User Experience bachelor's. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in this field to pursue that degree. This job truly changed my life."
"To be honest, my title at B-Reel is design intern instead of UX/UI design intern. Although I am in charge of some big duty of wireframe design, I did a lot of graphic cases as well. But I think the opportunities are still pretty good, because I've honed my graphic and illustration skills evidently during this process, which even push my ability of UX/UI into a higher level."
"I love designing experience for users. A great user experience is an effective way to get more costumers. I have explored a lot websites and apps, I love finding what is good and what is bad there. The thing I don't like is that companies looking for UX/UI designers always ask for 3+ yrs experience. It is hard to find an entry level or around 1 yr experienced requirement position."
"I enjoy the puzzles and complex discovery of cases involved in problem solving. It is fascinating to continually be forced to think bigger. Yet, I do find it hard to grasp the 'lingo' and appropriate vernacular."
