"I worked for UTC Aerospace System for a total of six months to satisfy my second co-op requirement. Working with the Manufacturing Engineering Department was an exciting experience that allowed me to utilize a lot of the knowledge and skills that I had learned in the classroom. It was a pleasure to work with and develop relationships with all of my co-workers, as well as humbling to be part of such a large, technically advanced company that had such a high standard for customer satisfaction."

"I worked for UTAS over the 2013 summer as an intern. The entire company places engineering at a low priority, below saving money and prolonging product life. There's an incredible lack of innovation and there's not much of a push to create STEM jobs. I've been trying since I left to move into another department in the company, something engineering related, and for months they haven't returned any of my phone calls or emails, even though I got a good performance review."

You get all the same good benefits at Pratt & Whitney (also part of United Technologies), which is a MUCH better company to work for. If you have an offer from Pratt & Whitney and an offer from UTC Aerospace Systems, take the Pratt & Whitney offer even if it is for less pay."
