Working at UTC Aerospace Systems in Windsor Locks, CT: 2 Employee Reviews

UTC Aerospace Systems Employee

"Great pay and benefits ONLY because UTC Aerospace Systems is part of United Technologies Corporation. United Technologies' Educational Assistance Program, for example, is top-notch. You get all the same good benefits at Pratt & Whitney (also part of United Technologies), which is a MUCH better company to work for. If you have an offer from Pratt & Whitney and an offer from UTC Aerospace Systems, take the Pratt & Whitney offer even if it is for less pay."

"I worked for UTAS over the 2013 summer as an intern. The entire company places engineering at a low priority, below saving money and prolonging product life. There's an incredible lack of innovation and there's not much of a push to create STEM jobs. I've been trying since I left to move into another department in the company, something engineering related, and for months they haven't returned any of my phone calls or emails, even though I got a good performance review."
