"I worked for UTC Aerospace System for a total of six months to satisfy my second co-op requirement. Working with the Manufacturing Engineering Department was an exciting experience that allowed me to utilize a lot of the knowledge and skills that I had learned in the classroom. It was a pleasure to work with and develop relationships with all of my co-workers, as well as humbling to be part of such a large, technically advanced company that had such a high standard for customer satisfaction."

"The company is currently in turmoil due to a recent buyout by UTC. The final organization has not taken shape yet and upper management is in continual change and final locations of offices in the US and Canada has not been finalized. Employees are constantly worried about the office in Independence Ohio staying open when there is no longer a manufacturing site near by."
