"I love working directly with the students, advising and teaching them, and thinking about how I can solve their problems and anticipate their needs. I enjoy being in the classroom and working with faculty. I like the campus environment, and the benefits are great."

"Ask for as much money as you can after your offer, because you might not see a raise after that."
What don't you like about working at University of Washington?
"The pay is lower than I would like, I wish I had more vacation, and I want to be able to work remotely 2 days per week or more, and it is REALLY stressful."
