Help Desk Technician

"I have worked at the OIT Helpdesk at UTD for about a year and a half. This is an amazing place for students to work while they attend UTD. This position provides you with many opportunities to move up and work on special projects that help people across the University. Management is extremely supportive and will help you when you are stuck, you even build close relationships with other student workers. This may not pay as well as other jobs, but the experience you gain and the ability to balance work and school life, more than make up for it. I would highly recommend this job to any students looking to get into technology."

"UT Southwestern Medical Center supported not only me but 10,000 other staff, physicians, students, and fellows. They have a great benefit package, as well as vacation accruals. The pay is moderate and it is tough to advance in their environment. Needless to say, I am very grateful for the experience that I gained working for UT Southwestern for the past 20 years."
