"I earned my master's degree at this University, and I worked there as a research assistant with various faculty members. I will come back for my Ph.D. program. The work environment is good and there is room for learning and promotion"
"This company is a great place to work for and provides lots of advancement opportunities to its employees."
"Nice place to get an education"
"Pros: Involvement in health science research. Cons: Culture of inaccurately placed blame. Culture of dishonesty by professor and lab management. Creation of a poor research plan by professor. Frequent racist remarks by employees and professor. Refusal of professor to provide a recommendation, resulting in unemployment after the end of my time of employment."
"Overall the institution is good to work at. Good benefits."
"Easy to move up but beware of moving up too quickly without understanding how the docs are revered there. They can do no wrong."
"This is a professional place. MD and researchers with doctoral degree are fervent toward curing cancers. I admire the people here and I love working here."
"I worked for UT for 5 years and the university itself was amazing. Benefits were great but working for state had its downfall in pay scale. The director of the Wic program was very biased. She never had the employees' side, only the managers and trainers. I guess that's why turnover rate stayed up. The ones who did stay around to work long periods were older and scared to seek employment elsewhere and just simply settled. I really enjoyed learning and helping all my clients."
"UTHealth is a great place to work and pay/benefits are stellar. As with any office, it has good and bad, but on the whole, it's a very good place to be."
"The company is a great and huge hospital which belongs to state government, but it is not good for data professions. Also, the supervisors are usually position sensitive which are not work oriented. For me, I don't think this environment is good for my future career, also the performance of employee is not evaluated by the real performance but more politics. Overall, if you want to have a slack life and get retired, this hospital is a wonderful place."
"20 years behind the curve in IT."
"It's a good place to learn and gain knowledge about any aspect of clinical research."
"It is a very good place to learn new knowledge."
