Overview
The University of Memphis is a public university located in Memphis, Tennessee. Some of the university's most popular departments include the Loewenberg School of Nursing, the FedEx Institute of Technology as well as the Institute of Egyptian Art and Archeology.
The university was founded in 1912 and was the result of various educational institutions in the region being amalgamated into one.
