Concession Supervisor

"I've worked for the DIA concessions since I was a freshmen in college. It's a great place to work for a student. You can sign up for hours that suit you and my supervisor was really good about working around my school work and schedule. I love working here but now that I am out of school I am looking for a more permanent job where I can put my skills and abilities to more use."

University of Illinois Employee

"I worked for the UIUC Office of Grants and Contracts for nine years. Generally, I found the work fascinating and learned a great deal about federal, state and private awards. I gained new and/or improved skills through in-house training, seminars, webinars and online classes. The management style of the office is extremely hierarchical. If not on the management team, there's very little opportunity to contribute to conversations and decisions affecting the office and the work done."
