"I liked how it prepared me to get a better feel in what a corporate environment feels like. They had me interact with clients on a daily basis and complete investment lunch seminars on a monthly basis."

"I did not like how it was an unpaid internship but it was a great experience nonetheless."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"One thing I would suggest is to reward the interns in some way after recruiting a prospective client. This would really motivate the other interns and make them feel more appreciated."

"A lot of power struggles and backstabbing"

"I've worked here about a year, and I've learned a few things about how things work here in the bank. The name of the game post financial crisis is all about cutting costs. Cut, cut, cut. This makes for a less than ideal work environment and less than happy employees. Depending on which dept you come in through, your work experience may vary."
