4.1I rated the the ability to improve and move up very poor because it was a contract position. I wish the position was more technical base. Frankly, it wasn't very in-depth and too easy and too straightforward for me.
2.7I've worked at Tufts Health Plan for over ten years. Tufts is having a tough time adjusting to changes in the Affordable Care Act. They have never had to be efficient and cost effective and now they are getting squeezed on costs. They also have a flawed strategy having acquired a Medicare/Medicaid provider this has further tied them to government reimbursements, which has cost them millions of dollars in losses. I think they really need better management and I would avoid them as a career choice if you are looking for innovation, good execution or leadership.
4.2I worked at Tufts Health Plan from July-December 2020 while I was finishing up my Master's. Aside from the friendly and compassionate people, I found the job itself to be rewarding. I liked coming home with the feeling that I could make someone's day just a little bit easier.
The benefits were great and the pay was decent given it was an entry level role. I honestly believe this role is perfect for anyone looking to balance school and work.
