"I've worked for TSYS since April 1, 2019, as a permanent employee and I had an internship in the Summer of 2018. I have nothing but great things to say about the company other than the compensation is poor and the ability to take on more responsibility and prove myself as a programmer is very limited. Due to this, I find that my opportunity as an individual extremely limited as well."

"The fast pace climate is a good thing and a vital thing"

"Be patient with the company, give 100% of your time to it."

"The way technical staff is treated and the way they are handled for the long term."

"Be nicer to the technical team and be more understanding"

"I really enjoyed the work and the variety of working for different clients. The travel was nice. Money was good."

"Go somewhere else. This company has a track record of using people and then getting rid of them."
What don't you like about working at TSYS?
"Upper management micro-managed almost everything. Project managers did not have project teams but were assigned teams that all reported to a separate manager so the project manager had no control of team members or their assignments or etc. Bad situation to be in as a project manager. Most of the middle- management has been there since the company began and they don't think that anyone who has worked anywhere else knows anything. Upper management is made up of guys that were fortunate sons of other fortunate sons and are mostly clueless."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"WAKE UP!! The people who 'have always been there' are not the brightest bulbs in the box and are the cause of most of the problems. Let the people who manage projects manage the whole project and not just the schedule."

"It was a great place to work. I was exposed to cutting edge technology. Many training programs. TSYS exposed you to what's new to the market place and encouraged you to balance work and family."

"There is not a thing not to like. The work environment was challenging but it also allowed you to validate the most important things in your life."
