"The management style here is very macro managing on a extreme scale. The culture is being changed a lot by the acquisition and has created an uncomfortable environment for most employees. All the uncertainty has really affected employee morale and the quality of the work produced by most teams."

I have nothing but great things to say about the company other than the compensation is poor and the ability to take on more responsibility and prove myself as a programmer is very limited. "I worked for TSYS for 8 months, but that time was enough for me to get an idea of the company. TSYS is a good place to work. The management can be seen and you can speak directly to them about your concerns. I worked at one of their call centers in the USA and we weren't that far from their main campus, so we had visits from some of the upper level managers. As this was a call center, the main thing that hindered us from completing our tasks was the number of calls we would receive in any given day."

"TSYS is the perfect example of what's wrong with the entire country. Poor pay, ridiculous performance levels before earning commissions and astronomical turnover in employees. Penny-wise, pound foolish management restrains the sales people from excelling and getting the long term pipeline of customers necessary to guarantee the business future. No long term planning and just "make a bunch of calls from the Sales Force" template. You are a temp the entire time you are an employee from the date of hire. Look elsewhere for a good job."

"The commercial side of TCS is a great part of the company to work for, but corporate in Annapolis is rather out of touch with the realities of that business. They are more experienced in the Government/DoD side of the business, which leaves the commercial division feeling like the poor step child. There's a lot of politics in the Annapolis HQ, and they do not appear to be very productive. The Seattle and Aliso Viejo locations are the best offices to work in."
