"Waste of time to get anything in writing. They change it anytime they want and take away anything they promised. Hard to give advice besides, look at more progressive and better managed companies."

"Lack of technical expertise, inefficiency, reduced compensation, no care for employee morale or needs, working environment, no growth, management cares about themselves and not about employees or the company, lack of talent, not doing things right the first time, repeating the same mistakes over and over, and the list goes on..."

"Get new managers at lower level, offer opportunity to senior level and talented technical people, encourage innovation and reward, improve working environment for high level technical people, better compensate, listen to dissenting technical opinions, not to make unnecessary mistakes, lay off low level managers who are inexperienced technically, have too many issues with employees, do not show record of fast and efficient product development, who are absent from work too often, treat technical people with proper respect and appreciation, because they drive product development forward."

"I worked with embedded control systems and I find embedded software design very interesting. I was given the responsibility of a junior engineering while being a co-op, this provided me with the opportunity to learn much about the position of a full time design engineer."

"They are an automotive supplier and because of the depressed economy in the area, the morale at the company was down. They were experiencing rounds of layoffs and many of the employees felt like their future was bleak."

"Listen to the ideas/suggestions of the engineers working on the project."

"This company was actually based out of Livonia, not Sterling Heights. It was a great place to work, it's just too bad that the economy caused them to lay off so many good engineers."
