Transition Manager at IBM

Please give us a one liner to describe this review.

"Overcontrolled."

What do you like about working at IBM?

"It was my first really big project as a contractor."

What don't you like about working at IBM?

"too many process frameworks and too much controlling. I agree that controlling has to be in place to know where your money goes or where it does come from. But on the other hand, when controlling makes daily business slow or impossible it is definitely too much. Many IBM employees are more internal process than customer oriented."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Make your management lean and simple. Reduce the controlling and let people do their jobs for the customers in first place and not for the company."
