"I have worked at Thomas Jefferson since 2017 the location of the university is great and the benefits provided is also great, however it is impossible to move up within the university. Even you qualify for a better position the listed salary is not offer to employee who are already working for Jefferson. They tend to offer current employee only 15% increased."

I have found that it is a very friendly place for graduate students and postdocs, with good resources both for science and for social and career development. A lot depends on the lab you choose, so choose wisely, but most PIs will treat you right."

"Environment is dismal, coworkers are unbearable, work is mindless and makes me feel like my brain is rotting, and feel completely imprisoned."

"Train cross functionally to remove the stagnant employees who get stuck in the same position for 20+ years doing jobs the exact same way with extreme inefficiencies. Eliminate the temp program of 600+ employees who are being abused, underpaid and ignored."
