"Eberline/Thermo Electron was a good company. Good pay, benefits, good co-workers. Merged with Fisher Scientific. see next box"

"TFS management has no sense of honor. Work for them at your own risk."

What don't you like about working at Thermo Fisher Scientific?

"Entire division shut down, no rel offers at all. Management of TFS was not truthful with personnel and everyone felt screwed. Products were sent to facilities where the employees had no knowledge of the products, or procedures. Facility, which had been in place for 30 years, land probably contaminated with lead and 3rd generation isotopes, lies fallow with no attempt by TFS to clean up."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Honor is a concept that is not outdated. The moves that were made were according to thought processes that were interested in a quick buck, not a long term existence. Karma will out."

"NOT a family oriented company - be sure to keep track of your attendance and watch your step, because you may be making mistakes that will not be pointed out until it is too late and you have been written up!"

"Train the employees to meet your expectations. Do not penalize or intimidate them when they have personal issues - try to assist them to the best of your ability and notify them monthly of their progress."

Many of your managers don't really have a clue and usually end up causing more workload with more room for error with their fixes. You have a great work force, but you're losing them and their trust in you because of your middle managements stupidity."
