"Too many managers in the 30 something plant thought I was younger than I was -- didn't expect me to have the depth of economics for the business. It was re-enforced that I was learning about the fibers business since I was from the Petrochemical and polymer (ABS) engineering groups."

"I don't have any contact or perspective on the new private management. The other change in the market is DuPont left the nylon staple carpet fiber business and many nylon fibers customers have shrunk from Asian competition."
