"Enjoyable, for the most part, in terms of the people that I worked with."

What do you like about working at The Berry Co.?

"The people I worked with - they are a great group of folks that really want to do the best that they can, for the company."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Expect more downsizing in the near future. Also, they have yet to name new leadership as they still emerge from bankruptcy, which leads me to believe (from experience) that they company may experience some changes in ownership, new partnership, or a splitting off of some it's departments."

What don't you like about working at The Berry Co.?

"The 'power-grab' at the top. Too many times projects had already been discussed and finalized before they came to me, with little to no prior knowledge or input, beforehand. At that point it was simply cutting and pasting (poorly) written 'material' into PPT presentations, which wasn't the best use of my time or skill sets."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Trust in the experience and skills of your employees - you have a team there for a reason: use them to your advantage. The threat of job loss has a lot to do with this - everyone seems to be afraid of giving off the appearance that they don't contribute, so the folks above try to do it all (when they shouldn't)."
